Behind every beautifully crafted piece of jewellery lies a story of passion, patience, and precision. At Verve Jewels, our collections are more than accessories; they are expressions of artistry shaped by skilled hands and thoughtful design. In this special feature, we take you behind the scenes to meet the maker who brings our silver jewellery to life.
The Inspiration Behind the Craft
The designers at Verve Jewels and the artisans here believe that jewellery is more than an accessory. It is a piece of culture. It represents your vibe, your dignity, your beauty and your background. In our interview, they shared the philosophy that drives every collection.
Let's see what our craftsman has to say about Verve Jewels and its jewellery.
-
Blending tradition with modernity: At Verve Jewels, we target the heritage of Indian craftsmenship such as filigree work and the boldness of tribal silver and make it wearable for the modern woman.
-
Purity pursuit: We believe that authenticity is the first step to creating jewellery, and it is the soul of our workshop. Each of the designs is crafted with a hallmark of 92.5% stirling silver, which makes sure that the maker's mark is not just a signature but a promise of quality and long-term value.
-
Hand finished preceision: We do not believe in using machines to make our jewellery designs. We believe that human touch is more precious than a machine cut. At Verve Jewels, each of the pieces undergoes a thorough hand polishing process. In order to achieve the signature warm silver glow that machine-made jewellery cannot even replace.
A Day in the Atelier: From Sketch to Sterling Silver
The journey of a Verve Jewels piece is a meticulous one. Our designers walked us through the three core stages of creation:
-
The Inspiration (Sketching): Every piece begins as a hand-drawn sketch, inspired by the architecture of Old Delhi, the colours of a Jaipur sunset, or contemporary geometric patterns.
-
The prototype (Moulding): After finalising the designs, our artisans create a three-dimensional prototype of the designs that they have made in order to ensure that the jewellery is not only beautiful but also ergonomic and comfortable for daily wear.
-
The setting (stone and finish): the gemstones and zircons are hand-set by our craftsman with a high-quality sticking material and then polished with the flame to ensure the maximum protection of the jewellery. This process requires immense patience in order to make sure that every stone is secured properly and reflects light perfectly.
Wear a piece of the story. By choosing Verve Jewels, you aren't just buying jewellery; you are supporting a community of local artisans and keeping the rich legacy of Indian silver-smithing alive.
